UK-based IFA Ascot Lloyd Financial Services has appointed Iain Balchin as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

Balchin is joining Ascot Lloyd from St. James’s Place, where he served as an executive director of finance for three years managing the transformation of the firm’s finance function as it transitioned into the FTSE 100.

Prior to that, he worked as finance director of corporate banking for Lloyds Banking Group, and held senior roles at BNP Paribas, AIG, Standard Chartered and Credit Suisse.
