Royal London Group’s wrap provider Ascentric has named Jon Taylor as new managing director, effective January 2015, replacing Hugo Thorman.
Additionally, Taylor will also assume the role as chief executive of CIS, the life insurance business acquired by Royal London last year.

At the same time, Thorman will become chairman of Ascentric and will work closely with Taylor.
Both the hires are subject to regulatory approval.
Taylor previously held several roles within CIS, including heading up IT and technology strategy, business transformation and most recently as head of the CIS life and savings business.
Thorman said: "We are delighted to appoint Jon to the role of managing director. I have got to know him personally over the last year through his role on the Royal London executive committee, and he will be a great leader for Ascentric."
