The new fund will be available to investors with a minimum investment of $1,000. Arden will charge a maximum fee ratio of 1.99%, reported FINalternatives.

Arden said that the fund’s investment committee will allocate fund assets to a select group of sub-advisers using its proprietary manager selection, portfolio construction, and monitoring/risk management practices.

Arden Alternative Strategies II will be available in several classes through registered investment professionals, retirement plans, certain broker-dealer programs and self-directed accounts, making our multi-manager portfolios available to all investors.

Arden Asset Management CEO and chairman Averell Mortimer said: "Liquid alternatives can give more options to investors and their advisors, especially as they plan and rebalance retirement portfolios in an environment where interest rates are likely to rise in the future and equity returns are expected to be more modest."
