As the director, Saxby will be responsible for high net worth individuals (HNWIs) within the City, and will work within the legal, accountancy and financial professions.
He will report to Liz Bottomley, who was appointed as the head of private banking in August 2011.

Most recently, Saxby was with Coutts & Co, where he had served as an executive director and wealth manager. He has 24 years’ experience as a wealth manager responsible for HNWIs.
Commenting on the appointment, James Fleming, chief executive of the firm, said: "Dan Saxby brings a vast amount of experience to his new role as director, private banking, experience that has been gained at the highest levels.
