In this role Mr Farrell will be responsible for all of IOOF’s financial planning businesses and will report to the Managing Director, Christopher Kelaher.

Each dealer group head will remain in control of their respective group. Mr Farrell, who has been contracting to IOOF since October 2012, overseeing the Plan B business since its acquisition, will assume this role from 4 February 2013. Prior to joining IOOF, Mr Farrell gained extensive business and leadership experience in the financial services sector across platforms, funds management, wealth management and private client stockbroking in both Australia and Asia.
He consulted to the financial services industry for many years, working with ANZ, Zurich and Challenger. Prior to this he was Group Managing Director of dealer group Garrisons, and has also worked at Merrill Lynch Private.
