Apollo Multi Asset Management has appointed Skandia’s former manager, Ryan Hughes, as portfolio manager in its investment team, effective 14 October 2013.
In his new role, Hughes will work along with Apollo investment managers and co-founders Steve Brann, Ian Willings, and Craig Wetton.

Hughes joined Skandia in 2006, who was responsible for managing the Best Ideas fund range.
Commenting on the appointment, Apollo chief investment officer, Steve Brann, said: "We are pleased Hughes is joining the team, adding complementary skills and bringing a wealth of knowledge from his experiences in the industry, especially in RDR-friendly fund and model portfolio solutions.
"Apollo has been relatively early in adopting a risk-rated approach to portfolio management simplifying solutions for advisers," Brann added.
