Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) has appointed Rohit Bhasin as head of markets for India business, with immediate effect.
Bhasin, who has an experience of over two decades in markets, will be based in Mumbai.

He will report to ANZ CEO for India, Sanjeev Bajaj, and head of markets and markets trading for Singapore and South Asia, Anshul Sidher.
Bhasin most recently served as the head of fixed income and currencies (FIC) for India, Sri Lanka, and Thailand at Deutsche Bank. He formerly also had stints at Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN AMRO.
“Rohit’s extensive experience in markets will be of significant benefit to our strong franchise in India, which is a key market for our customers across ANZ’s network who are looking for opportunities to grow their business throughout the region,” Sidher stated.
ANZ India markets business offers solutions covering foreign exchange, capital markets, interest rates, commodities and derivatives and also offers specialist research and risk management.
