Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) has appointed Mike Norfolk as new head of private banking for Australia.

Norfolk, who has around 15 years experience in private banking industry, will be based in Sydney and will commence in early 2014.

Norfolk joins ANZ from Coutts, the wealth division of RBS, where most recently he served as head of private banking based in London.
