UK-based Anderson Strathern Asset Management has appointed June Hanney as its new compliance manager.
Hanney will work alongside the CEO, investment team and advisers, heading compliance oversight, adviser development and FCA reporting.

Based in the firm’s Edinburgh headquarters, she will review controls and processes to ensure best practices are in line with changes in the industry.
Anderson Strathern Asset Management CEO Alec Stewart said: "June has a robust background in compliance and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting. The financial compliance environment is constantly changing and having June on hand in the office to provide advice and ensure we are fully compliant will allow us to concentrate on further growing the business."
Hanney, who has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry, most recently served as the group compliance manager at One Solution Group. She previously also worked at RBS, Huntswood Associates and Martin Aitken & Co.

I’ll also be working closely with our advisers to help with their development, identifying potential risks and evolving processes on behalf of our clients and staff," Hanney said.
