French asset manager Amundi has appointed Societe Generale’s senior manager Vincent Mortier as its new deputy CIO.
Mortier will also join the executive committee at Amundi. In the new role, he will work closely alongside existing CIO and head of institutional clients Pascal Blanque.

Most recently, Mortier served as chief financial officer of the global banking and investor solutions unit at Societe Generale Group, where he began his career in 1996.
He previously also held various other roles during his tenure at the French lender, including co-head of equity finance, deputy head of equity finance and head of strategy and development in the global equities and derivatives solutions division.
