Amundi Pioneer has named Joseph Carrabes as its new senior managing director and head of institutional distribution for its North America business.
Carrabes will be responsible for managing sales, relationship management and consultant relations in the US and Canada for institutional strategies managed by Amundi Pioneer and its parent Amundi.

He will be based in Boston and will report to Amundi Pioneer CEO, Lisa Jones.
Carrabes most recently served as the managing director and head of institutional sales and client service at Jennison Associates, where he worked for 11 years.
Prior to Jennison Associates, he served as director of institutional sales and relationship management at Putnam Investments. Carrabes’ three decade-long asset management career also includes stints at The Boston Company and Chase Manhattan Bank.
