French asset management firm Amundi has appointed Laurent Ducoin as its new head of European equities.
Ducoin started his career in 2000 at Oddo Pinatton Equities as a sell side financial analyst. He held the same role at CM-CIC Securities from 2002 to 2004.

He joins Amundi from Carmignac. At Carmignac, he served as head of European equity team and fund manager from 2011 with responsibility for rebuilding the investment process of the team.
Before that, Ducoin served at BlackRock in London from 2004, where he became fund manager and participated to the management of various pan-European as well as Swiss only-products.
