Since October 2010, Amundi London Branch has been under the responsibility of Laurent Crosnier who held the dual role of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. Under his direction, the teams at Amundi London Branch have successfully developed its investment activities. In order to further strengthen this business, Amundi has therefore decided to separate these two roles with the nomination of Laurent Guillet.

Laurent Guillet will take on his responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer, Amundi London Branch on 1st June, subject to regulatory approval, while maintaining his role as Chief Executive Officer of Amundi Alternative Investments which he has held since May 2011. Laurent’s objective will be two-fold:
– to focus on business development with UK investors building on Amundi’s strong expertise
– to promote Amundi London’s fund management expertise globally.
Now focusing on the investment side of the business, Laurent Crosnier will maintain his responsibilities as Chief Investment Officer of the London Branch and Deputy Head of Amundi’s Fixed Income platform under the direction of Eric Brard, Global Head of Fixed Income. In this role, Laurent will continue to drive the business as a centre of excellence in fund management for all global products including credit, government bonds, and emerging market debt, and equities.
Laurent Guillet
Laurent Guillet has been CEO of Amundi AI since May 2011 and was previously Deputy CEO, having joined in April 2007 to focus on the managed account platform. Before this, he worked as Head of Equity and Fund Derivatives Sales for Europe and the Middle East in the Capital Markets Division of Crédit Agricole CIB, formerly Calyon (2004-2007).
From 2001 to 2004, he was Head of Sales of Equity Derivatives for France, Benelux and Switzerland at Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux. From 1994 to 2001, he was responsible for Fixed Income structuring and marketing for French financial institutions at the former Crédit Agricole Indosuez. Laurent Guillet began his career in 1988 at Banque Indosuez, starting up the regional capital market activities in Lyon.

Laurent Crosnier
Laurent began his career in the financial industry in 1989 as a futures trader at ODDO, a European investment banking boutique. He joined Amundi in 1991 as a Euro Fixed Income manager and has been focusing on Euro Corporate management since 1997.
Laurent was appointed Head of Inflation, Duration & Credit management in 2006 before being promoted to Head of the Euro Fixed and Credit Department in 2008. In April 2010, he was appointed Chief Investment Officer of Amundi London Branch. In October 2010, Laurent Crosnier took on the position of CEO of Amundi London Branch, retaining his role of CIO and continuing to act in this capacity.
Laurent holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Postgraduate degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Paris Dauphine. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
