Asset manager Amundi has appointed Christopher Crystal, as head of distribution for the Nordic region.

The appointment follows the firms push into Sweden, where it opened a representative office in the region in March 2013.

Earlier to this, Crystal worked for Nordea in Sweden where he was in charge of establishing the firm as a tier one bank to European institutions and building the European distribution business.

Crystal’s appointment follows the arrival of Bjorn Sandberg, head of ETF client relationships, and is part of Amundi’s plans to develop its distribution business in Europe and Asia.
