In his new role as head of multi manager and investment solutions, Henaghan will be responsible for the flagship diversified funds range, strategy and economic insights and also head the team responsible for client portfolio management solutions across all asset classes.

Additionally, Beardow has been promoted to the role of head of the specialist investment teams, where he will be responsible for managing AMP Capital’s fundamental equities and multi strategy global investment management teams.

However, a new head of fixed income is expected to replace Beardow in early 2014.

The move follows AMP Capital’s chief investment officer David Kiddie’s decision to step down from his role in order to join his family in the UK. The role of CIO will now be split between Sean Henaghan and Mark Beardow.
