AMP Capital, an Australian investment manager, has named Grant Hassell as the new managing director for New Zealand, with effect from 30 April 2015.
Apart from his new role of managing director, Hassell will also continue his existing role as head of fixed income at AMP Capital, reported Financial Standard.

In his capacity as managing director and fixed income head, Hassell will focus on developing the company’s position in investment capabilities and deliver on its growth strategy.
Hassell joined AMP Capital 28 years ago, and served as fixed income head at AMP Capital New Zealand since 2006.
Moreover, he has been a longstanding member of the AMP Capital New Zealand leadership team, as well as a director at AMP Investment Management.
