Ameriprise Financial, a US-based asset manager, has added two teams from Wells Fargo Advisors and Stifel to its network. The two teams collectively oversee $272m in assets.
The Wells Fargo team manages $189m in assets while the remainder is managed by the Stifel team.

The advisers joining from Wells Fargo are Rick Yanez and Lance Mackall, who are in charge of Foundation Wealth Management.
The two are supported by advisers Cathie Joughin and John Rodgers, office manager Monica Lopez and client service manager Crystal Gilman.
The strength of Ameriprise’s financial planning platform and its practice acquisition support are said to play a major role in its choice by the Foundation team.

Meanwhile, John McLaughlin has moved to Ameriprise from Stifel and will be supported by paraplanner Lisa Zlockie.
Ameriprise’s ability to support relationships with existing clients and acquire new ones is said to be one of the key factors integral to its selection by McLaughlin.
