Germany-based financial services provider Allianz SE has restructured its board of management by hiring Jacqueline Hunt to oversee its asset management and US life insurance, effective from 1 July 2016.?????????????
Hunt will replace Jay Ralph, who will step down at the end of June 2016. She will be based at Allianz’s Munich head office from 1 July until 31 December 2019. She will lead the group’s asset management businesses, including Allianz GI and PIMCO.

Hunt is joining Allianz from Prudential, where she worked as CEO for the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa.
Previously, she also worked as CFO at Aviva, Norwich Union and Standard Life and started her career at Deloitte & Touche.
Also, the company has appointed Günther Thallinger as board member to lead the group’s investment management business, as well as global life and health effective from 1 January 2017. ?????????????
Thallinger will assume his new role from Maximilian Zimmerer, who is due to retire on 31 December 2016.
