Albemarle Street Partners has won a mandate to advise IFA group Newell Palmer on the management of its £500 million advisory investment service.
The new business, which is set to launch in January, will be called FundCalibre and will issue a single Elite Fund rating to portfolios that pass the screening.

The move follows Albemarle’s launch of a joint fund rating service with Chelsea Financial, based on its proprietary screening tool AlphaQuest.
Garry Godwin, managing director of Newell Palmer Financial Planning, said: "At this stage in the group’s development as we seek to unify the investment offering across all our group companies, it is appropriate to harness the experience and expertise of Albemarle Street Partners."
