PNC Global Investment Servicing has announced that ADVISORport, its managed accounts servicing subsidiary, has been renamed to PNC Managed Investments.
Reportedly, PNC Managed Investments and its affiliates support both money managers and program sponsors in the management of Unified Managed Accounts (UMA), separately managed accounts and mutual fund wrap books. Products include a flexible and integrated managed investments platform, middle and back-office outsourcing, distribution and business development, and mutual fund custody.

The company has said that as a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm, PNC Managed Investments itself also provides various investment advisory and overlay services including acting as a program sponsor.
