Adams Street Partners, a US-based private markets investment firm with over $31bn in assets, has opened an office in Seoul, South Korea.
The new location is the firm’s tenth office across the globe. The firm also has offices in Beijing, Boston, Chicago, London, Menlo Park, Munich, New York, Singapore, and Tokyo.

The Seoul office will be headed by Chris Cho, who most recently served as the vice president within the sales and marketing team at Lazard Asset Management. Cho joins Adams Street as a principal, with responsibility for development of institutional client and consultant relationships within South Korea.
Adams Street managing partner Jeff Diehl said: “It is critical for Adams Street to have a local presence so we can appropriately serve our South Korean investors and take advantage of private market investment opportunities in the region.
