US-based accounting firm Sensiba San Filippo has purchased Paraclae, a provider of business advisory and family office services.

The deal will boost Sensiba San Filippo’s business services department as well as add family office services for HNWI’s and families.

As part of the acquisition, the Paraclae team will be merged into SSF’s Private Client Services group.

According to SSF, the new group, which will be headed by SSF’s audit partner, Scott Anderson, aims to cater the accounting needs of small business owners.

The group will also expand SSF’s position as a provider of business consulting services, financial management outsourcing, and family office services.

Additionally, the acquisition will see legacy staff of Paraclae including principal Cathy Thomas serving their existing clients as well as SSF’s expanding client base.

The deal comes in line with the firm’s focused strategy to develop both organically and through acquisition via the addition of advisory services and professionals.
