Fraudsters pretending to be private bankers are targeting wealthy customers of Britain’s oldest private bank by knocking on their door and asking for financial information. William Wesnofske reports.
C Hoare & Co, Britain’s oldest private bank, has reached out to account holders to be cautious of scammers. These organised fraudsters have fooled clients into giving up thousands of pounds a week.
