Acadian Asset Management, a US-based investment management firm, has opened a new office in Tokyo, Japan.
Situated at the Marunouchi Trust Tower, the new office will be headed by Seiji Ishii.

The Tokyo office will provide discretionary asset management services to Japanese institutional clients.
The team at Acadian Asset Management (Japan) will work closely with the firm’s head office in Boston and other global locations to bring its quantitative investment management approach to Japanese clients.
Acadian co-founder and CEO Churchill Franklin said: "Our Japan team will work closely with our head office in Boston and our other locations around the world to bring Acadian’s unique quantitative investment management approach to Japanese clients."
