He was also one of the key founding members of ING Asia Private Bank when it first started in 2001.
Teo had also played an integral role in the integration of the ING business with OCBC and the launch of Bank of Singapore from 2009 onwards.
In his new role, Teo will report to the country executive Singapore and CEO private banking Asia, Hugues Delcourt.
Teo’s appointment, together with three other new joiners in early 2012, is expected to expand the bank’s bench strength in Singapore and Asia.
