Aberdeen Asset Management has named Matteo Bosco as new head of business development for southern Europe and Switzerland.
In his new role, Bosco will be responsible for business development in southern Europe with main focus on Italy, Switzerland, Portugal and Spain.

He will also focus on Greece, Malta and Cyprus.
Hans Benenga, global deputy head of distribution, said that Bosco’s hire marks as a crucial step for Aberdeen’s business development in Southern Europe.
Bosco, who joined Aberdeen in 2009 as Italy country head, is currently business development head for Switzerland and Italy.
Prior to this, he worked at firms such as Banque Unigestion SA in Geneva, Credit Suisse Group in Zurich and Credit Suisse AM Funds SGR in Milan.
