Aberdeen Asset Management has restructured its fixed income team by appointing Victor Rodriguez as new head its Asia-Pacific fixed income business and by promoting Nick Bishop as head of the Australian fixed income team.

As part of the move, Rodriguez will relocate to Singapore at the end of 2014 and will be significantly involved with the Australian fixed income strategy team.

In his new role, Rodriguez will be responsible to promote greater collaboration between the Australian and the regional fixed income teams.

Rodriguez will replace former head of Asia-Pacific Fixed Income Anthony Michael, who has left the business after 18 years in the company, while Bishop will take Rodriguez current role as head of Australian fixed income team.

Aberdeen said that the new hires will improve investment consistency across Aberdeen’s global fixed income teams.
