Aberdeen Asset Management (Aberdeen AM) has signed a distribution deal with Banca Generali to sell its Luxembourg-domiciled fund range in Italy.
Under the agreement, Banca Generali will distribute the range of funds under Luxembourg law authorized and distributed in Italy by Aberdeen AM.

Laura Nateri, country head for Italy Aberdeen AM, said: “The distribution agreement is in addition to already developed partnership with Banca Generali in BG Selection Sicav, the system of funds of funds open to the best international managers, where Aberdeen AM exclusively manages two mandates of specialized management in emerging markets.
Aberdeen AM has already partnered with Banca Generali for BG Freestyle, an insurance product developed by the bank in collaboration with GenertelLife, where Aberdeen AM has also offered some of its funds.
