361 Capital, a US-based investment firm that specialises in liquid alternative mutual funds, has rolled out a new domestic long/short equity fund.
The fund, called 361 Domestic Long/Short Equity Fund, is sub-advised by Los Angeles-based Analytic Investors.

The fund, which will focus on domestic investments, will leverage the same strategy used by it 361 Global Long/Short Equity Fund, the company said.
361 Capital CIO Cliff Stanton said: "Given continued uncertainty in the market, advisors are increasingly looking for strategies that can strengthen more traditional 60/40 portfolios.
"Long/short equity funds allow investors to participate in the market while limiting equity market risk. Additionally, by offering a long/short fund focused exclusively on the U.S. market, we’re giving advisors even more control over diversification and geographic exposure."
