A team managing about $1bn in assets has broken away from Portland-based financial advisory practice Arnerich Massena to set up an independent registered investment advisory (RIA) firm, known as Allium Financial Advisors.
The team is led by managing director Sheree Arntson who has been serving Arnerich for 22 years, with responsibility for client portfolio management, client relations, design and implementation of client investment and retirement planning education programs.

The new firm will serve high-net-worth families and non-profit organisations across the nation.
It will use the Tru Independence platform, which partners with financial advisory firms to offer the platform and resources needed to launch their own independent firms.
"We are thrilled to launch Allium Financial Advisors on the tru Independence platform and continue our team's long tradition of working closely with clients in support of their financial goals. Launching Allium Financial Advisors is an ethical, intellectual, and deeply personal opportunity to shape our own culture and establish a higher standard of service and performance within our industry," Arntson said.
