Notenstein Private Bank, a subsidiary of Raiffeisen Switzerland, has hired Martin Liebi as new head of private banking Switzerland and as a member of the executive board, effective 1 May 2015.

Liebi joined Notenstein from Schroder & Co. Bank AG, where he was most recently member of the executive board and head of client relationship management Switzerland in Zurich.

Prior to this, he also worked with banks such as Lloyds Bank and Credit Suisse throughout Switzerland.

Adrian Künzi, CEO of Notenstein Private Bank, said: "Under his leadership, we will strengthen our core business while further developing our forward-looking approach to wealth management for private clients."

The Swiss private bank manages client assets of CHF21bn across 12 branches in Switzerland and employs around 700 staff.
