Swiss firm Vontobel Asset Management has hired Mondher Bettaieb as new head of corporate bonds.
Bettaieb, who joined Vontobel in 2010, has served as a founding member of the corporate-bond team and is also responsible for the flagship Vontobel Fund – EUR Corporate Bond Mid Yield.

Bettaieb joined Vontobel from at AXA Investment Managers in London, where he served as a credit strategist. Prior to this, he also worked at Swisscanto Asset Management and Winterthur Asset Management.
Vontobel’s fixed income unit currently manages a total of CHF 10 billion (8.27 billion) in assets and has 14 investment staff.
