US-based Community Bank has set up a new division that targets the private banking community in west Los Angeles and across Southern California.
Known as CH Cook & Co. Private Client Advisors, the new unit also employs a team of private banking professionals namely Les Chang, Edward Strain, Dennis Trazo and Linda Shilton.

Chang and Strain have joined CH Cook & Co as SVP, senior relationship managers, while Trazo joined as VP, portfolio banker and Shilton as AVP, private banking officer.
In his new role, Chang will develop banking relationships with high-net-worth clients who live in the west side of Los Angeles and neighboring communities. Previosuly, he has held roles with City National Bank, First Los Angeles Bank, HSBC and Banc of California.
Strain previously held roles at Banc of California and Security Pacific Bank, while Shilton worked with banks such as Bank of America, Imperial Bank and First Los Angeles Bank, Republic Bank, and most recently Banc of California.
