Indonesian financial services regulator has given the green light to the Asian division of Aberdeen Asset Management to buy 80% of Indonesia-based NISP Asset Management.
At present, majority of NISP Asset Management is owned by PT NISP Sekuritas.

PT NISP Sekuritas is controlled by Surjaudaja family of Indonesia which managed $292.6m as of February.
The assets managed by Aberdeen Asset Management globally as of June stood at $551.4bn.
The deal is slated to reach closure by this year end.
