JPMorgan Asset Management (JPMorgan AM) has established a new global investment solutions unit and named Jed Laskowitz to co-manage the new unit.
Based in New York, Laskowitz has been named as co-head of JP Morgan’s global solutions business, which manages about $150 billion of multi-asset-class portfolios via teams in the US, UK and Hong Kong.

The new division offers multi-asset, retirement, insurance, pension advice and ETF solutions. It will also combine the firm’s multi-asset investment capabilities with advisory solutions and capital markets expertise.
In his new role, Laskowitz will work with Michael O’Brien who is currently head of the global institutional client group.
However, Laskowitz will continue to serve as Asia-Pacific CEO for the firm’s asset management business in Asia.
Additionally, the firm has hired of Michael Falcon as new head of its Asia mutual funds business in Hong Kong, replacing Laskowitz.

By GlobalDataBased in New York, Falcon will oversee all the aspects of JP Morgan AM’s mutual fund business in Asia, reporting to Laskowitz, and global mutual fund business head George Gatch.
Meanwhile, George Gatch will take over the global institutional business from O’Brien.
The company is yet to announce the replacement for Falcon as head of retirement.
