Brooks Macdonald International (BMI) has named Darren Zaman as its new chief executive, replacing John Davey.
Zaman joined BMI from DPZ, the Jersey-based wealth management firm acquired by Brooks Macdonald in April 2014, where he served as CEO.

Prior to this, Zaman served as managing director of HSBC Investments and also worked with Le Masurier James and Chinn, before founding DPZ in 2007.
However, Davey will remain in a consultancy role with DPZ for a period of up to two years to ensure a smooth transition.
