JPMorgan Chase & Co has named Dalila Wilson-Scott as head of global philanthropy. She will also continue to serve as the president of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation.

JPMorgan Chase has a long history of philanthropy and civic engagement, utilizing its unique strengths and expertise, global reach and access to capital to support clients and communities. Last year, the firm and its Foundation gave more than $210 million to thousands of nonprofit organizations across the United States and more than 40 countries around the world.

In 2013, JPMorgan Chase launched New Skills at Work, a $250 million, five-year initiative to help reduce unemployment and expand economic opportunity by closing the skills gap. Recently the firm committed $100 million over five years to support Detroit’s economic recovery and $30 million over five years to connect small businesses to critical resources that help them grow faster, create jobs and strengthen local economies. The firm also committed $30 million to create the Financial Solutions Lab, which will identify tools to help consumers increase savings, improve credit and build assets.

Wilson-Scott has 15 years of experience at JPMorgan Chase, including nine years as a philanthropic leader within the firm. Previously, she was a senior project manager in the corporate merger office and a senior strategic planning director in the firm’s consumer and commercial banking business. Wilson-Scott is a graduate of New York University. She succeeds Bruce McNamer, who was instrumental in strengthening the firm’s philanthropic strategy in communities around the world.
