Investment manager Hargreaves Lansdown has named Andrea Blance and Moni Mannings as independent non-executive directors.

The pair will assume their new roles on the first of next month.

Both Blance and Mannings will be part of the group board risk committee. Blance will also join the audit committee.

Pending regulatory nod, Mannings will be chair elect of the remuneration committee from 8 October 2020.

Blance previously held senior leadership positions within finance, risk and regulation, marketing and strategy at Legal & General Group.

At present, Blance is senior independent director at Provident Financial as well as a non-executive director at The Mentoring Foundation.

Earlier, she was risk committee chair at Scottish Widows, Senior Independent Director at ReAssure Group and a William & Glyn pre-IPO board member.

Mannings previously was a senior partner at law firm Olswang. She was also a board member of Dairy Crest Group, Polypipe Group, the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Cranfield University.

Currently, she is senior independent director at Investec Bank, a non-executive director of EasyJet, non-executive director and remuneration committee chair of Breedon Group, and deputy chair of charity Barnardo’s.
