Aviva Investors has named Xiaoyu Liu as new fund manager for its emerging markets and Asia Pacific equities team.

Based in London, Liu will report to Will Ballard, senior fund manager, emerging markets and Asia Pacific Equities.
In her new role, Liu will work with Will Ballard and Ed Wiltshire on the Aviva Investors Asia Equity Income, Emerging Market Equity Income and Emerging Market Small Cap funds.
Prior to joining Aviva, Liu worked with JP Morgan Asset Management, where she was a technology, telecoms and industrials specialist, and more recently focused on small and mid-sized companies across Asia.
Before to this, she worked at UBS in its global equity team.
