Barclays has made two new senior appointments to support its operations in Asia.
The UK-based financial institution has appointed Carrie Chen as vice-chairman of Greater China Banking; and Sung-Min Chung as head of Technology in Banking for Asia Pacific region.

Both the senior hires will be based in Hong Kong and will help to expand Barclays’ client footprint in the region.

Carrie Chen, who joins Barclays from Morgan Stanley, has more than 15 years of experience in investment banking in China. She has also worked with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Macquarie Group and McKinsey & Co.
