Nikko Asset Management has hired three executives namely John Howland-Jackson, Ian Lewis, and Charles Allard to lead client development in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Howland-Jackson has been appointed as the vice chairman of Nikko Asset Management Europe and senior advisor for the Middle East Africa and Asia region.

He holds over 40 years of experience in the finance industry, which includes developing relationships with central banks and sovereign wealth funds.

Prior to joining Nikko, he served as senior managing director at ING Bank, and will be based in London in his new role.

Lewis has joined Nikko as head of global consultant relations, and will be based in Singapore in his new role.

Lewis holds over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, and was most recently a partner at Ardevora Asset Management.

He previously also served at various other companies including UBS Global Asset Management and Towers Watson.

Charles Allard has been hired as Nikko’s head of sales, North Asia based, and will be based in Hong Kong in his new role.

Allard, with 25 years of experience in the financial industry, previously worked for Winton Capital Management.

The trio joined the company on November 3.
