Nomura Asset Management UK has hired Richard Hodges and Ben Bugg in its global fixed income team.
Hodges, who has over 25 years of experience, most recently served as head of High Alpha Fixed Income in Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), where he launched and managed the company’s Dynamic Bond Trust.

He started his career at Chase Manhattan Bank and Natwest Investments prior to joining Gartmore Investment Management.
In Gartmore Investment Management, Hodges was designated as head of Pan European Portfolio Construction, where he was responsible for managing various fixed income strategies.
Bugg earlier served as an assistant fund manager at LGIM in its High Alpha Fixed Income team, where he worked for a host of strategies including, the Dynamic Bond Trust.
In their new role, Hodges and Bugg will be responsible for managing a new Global Dynamic Bond Fund which will invest across a full range of fixed income securities.
