Swiss private bank Pictet Asset Management has appointed former multi-asset team at Barings to launch a new product aimed at UK institutional investors.
The team, including Percival Stanion, Andrew Cole and Shaniel Ramjee, will support the launch of the new multi-asset Diversified Growth strategy fund.

Stanion will join Pictet as head of multi-asset strategies (excluding Switzerland) and will report to Olivier Ginguené, head of asset allocation and quantitative investments.
Stanion will work together with Luca Paolini, Pictet Asset Management, chief strategist in the core group of the 16-person unit.
Also, Pictet intends to launch similar products for other markets at a later stage.
Renaud de Planta, CEO of Pictet, stated while announcing the appointments in September: "This hire demonstrates our determination to expand our existing multi-asset strategies for clients both in the UK and elsewhere."
