Swiss digital investment specialist Crypto Finance has expanded into Asia with a new office in Hong Kong.
The Zurich-based group specialises in investments, trading, and the safeguarding of digital assets.

The new office will be used to meet the demand for digital-asset products and services and try to narrow the gap between traditional banking and the crypto market, the company said.
The company has selected Alisher Tashpulatov lead the Asia Pacific operation.
Previously, Tashpulatov worked in the crypto fund business of the company and was involved in securing a license from the Swiss regulator. He will assume his new role effective immediately.
He will be assisted a team of crypto-finance experts with experience in Asia, the company added.

The company noted that it will also participate in the Coindesk-organised event Invest: Asia on 11 and 12 September.
The Swiss digital investment specialist added that it will leverage this event to strengthen its ties with the key companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
