Bank of America’s Merrill Lynch has lured a team of two financial advisors from Raymond James Financial and JPMorgan Chase & Co that managed a combined $325m in assets.

The team, including Jay Higgenbotham and Ricardo Guerrero, has joined the firm’s Birmingham and San Antonio office, respectively.

Higgenbotham previously managed $225m in assets and produced $1m in annual fees and commissions at JPMorgan. He began his career with Regions Investment Company in 1986.

Guerrero had managed $100m in client assets and generated about $900,000 in annual revenue. He joined Merrill Lynch from Chase Private Client, JPMorgan Chase’s investing channel.
