Canada-based BMO Financial Group has hired Charyl Galpin as new head of BMO Nesbitt Burns, the full-service investment firm of the bank.
In her new role, Galpin will manage the full-service investing and wealth advisory business in Canada.

Galpin, who joined BMO in 1979, was most recently co-head of BMO Nesbitt Burns.
Prior to joining BMO, she worked with Burns Fry where she held many roles including manager, client services and vice-president, investor services operations.
During the start of this year, Galpin launched BMO’s first women-focused affinity group in Canada focused on the well-being and success of women at the bank.
