Pictet’s private bank in Singapore, Bank Pictet & Cie (Asia), has named Koh Boon Hwee as new independent board director.
Hwee will be responsible for advising and providing guidance for the wealth management team and its board as well as for Pictet’s managing partners.

Prior to joining Pictet, Hwee has held roles at firm in Singapore including chairman of DBS Bank from 2006 to 2010, chairman of Singapore Airlines from 2001 to 2005 and chairman of SingTel from 1986 to 2001.
He is also currently managing partner of private equity firm Credence.
