State Street Global Advisors has appointed Claire Perryman from BlackRock to head its ETF business in the UK.
Perryman replaces Eleanor Hope-Bell, who had left to start her own venture. In her new role, she will be responsible for developing solutions for asset owners, asset managers and intermediaries.

She will be based in London and report to Rory Tobin, co-head of the company’s global SPDR ETF business.
Commenting on the appointment, Tobin said: “As our European SPDR ETF business grows and we strengthen our team, we want to ensure that we provide the highest quality investment products and solutions to our clients and partners.
“Claire’s considerable experience in the ETF industry, and her passion for working closely with clients and internal stakeholders makes her a strong fit for our team. We are delighted to have her on board.”
At Blackrock, Perryman was UK head of iShares Wealth Management & Retail Sales for the last eight years.
