Banc of California has appointed Jay Sanders as executive vice president of private banking and also appointed five new senior directors.
Sanders most recently served as the executive vice president and head of wealth management, private banking, and fiduciary services at CIT Bank.

Previously he spent 15 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, including as a managing director within its global wealth management and investment unit.
The bank also hired Thomas Smykal, Eric Bacura, Demetrio Kerrison, Ashley Rochester, and Tyler McCalister as senior directors, all of whom joins from CIT Bank.
