Former Neuberger Berman executives Matthew Rubin and Justin Gaines have introduced a new multi-family office that will provide comprehensive wealth solutions to select individuals and families.

The new firm, known as Matrix Wealth Partners, is based in New York City and affiliated with Matrix Advisors, a provider of strategic corporate advisory services to small and medium enterprises.

Matrix Advisors offers access to private investment opportunities in real estate and operating companies.

Matrix Advisors will complement the advice and solutions provided by Matrix Wealth Partners to individuals and families, particularly in situations involving closely held businesses and complex real estate transactions.

At Neuberger Berman, both Rubin and Gaines formed the firm's Investment Strategy Group.

Rubin served Neuberger Berman as managing director, chief investment officer of Neuberger's Trust Company and chairman of the firm's asset allocation committee. He also served at family office U.S. Trust and Morgan Stanley.

Gaines, who worked as vice president at Neuberger Berman, advised customers in the New York, New England, and Southeast regions on investment policy and portfolio implementation.
